Publications:

  • Applicability of copyright before the massive conversion to digital platforms of artistic and academic works, and its rapid distribution on the internet, 2017

Experience:

  • Diesel vs D4 Fit Wear - Oct, 2018
Diesel S.p.A. was able to assert its rights over their famous "D" design against a local manufacturer of clothing that intended to register a similar D4 design. Diesel S.p.A. filed an Andean opposition, based on their registration in Colombia which was first rejected by the Trademark Director. In Appeal, the IP Committee agreed on the likelihood of confusion and the prevalence of prior right in the Andean Community and rejected the application.
